JK'S AUTO SERVICE LLC, doing business as JK's Auto Service (“JK's Auto Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information when you visit www.jksautoservice.com, contact us, or use our automotive services. If anything in this policy could be read to permit sharing of SMS opt-in information contrary to the SMS Privacy Policy, the SMS Privacy Policy controls.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, vehicle details (such as make, model, year, VIN, mileage, and service history), appointment requests, repair concerns, messages, estimate and authorization information, payment and transaction details, and other information you choose to give us. We may also retain records of your communications and your choices about receiving text messages.

Information from providing service. When you bring us a vehicle, we create records of inspections, diagnostics, estimates, repairs, invoices, approvals, and related communications. We may receive information from a person you authorize to communicate with us about your vehicle, or from a provider involved in a service you requested.

Website information. Our website and its service providers may automatically collect IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral information, and approximate location inferred from your IP address. Cookies or similar technologies may support basic site functions and, if enabled on the website, analytics or advertising. Your browser settings may let you limit cookies. We will provide any additional notices or choices required for technologies we actually use.

Please do not send payment card numbers or other sensitive information by ordinary text message or through a general contact form.

How we use information

If you choose to receive service-related texts, we may use your mobile number for appointments, vehicle inspections and service updates, estimates and authorization requests, invoices, pickup notices, and related customer service conversations. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive texts is voluntary and is not a condition of purchase. No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own purposes, including marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or provide mobile numbers or SMS consent to others for their own marketing, lead generation, or text messaging campaigns. Providers acting solely on our behalf may process the mobile number and message content needed to deliver our messages, subject to limits on their use of that information. Our general sharing provisions below do not override this SMS restriction.

When information is disclosed
