This SMS Privacy Policy explains how JK'S AUTO SERVICE LLC, doing business as JK's Auto Service, handles information related to our customer text messaging. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.
Information and purpose
When you opt in to our service text program, we collect your mobile number, your consent choice and its date or source, and the messages exchanged with us. We use this information only to communicate with you about appointments, your vehicle, inspections, estimates, repair approvals, service progress, invoices, pickup, and related customer service matters; to manage requests for help or opt-out; and to keep appropriate business and compliance records. This service program does not include promotional texts. We would obtain separate consent before sending any promotional texts.
No sharing of SMS consent
No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their own purposes, including marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing, lead generation, or independent text messaging. A communications provider acting on our behalf may process your mobile number and message content only to provide our messaging service and related support; it is not authorized to use them for its own marketing. This restriction applies even if our general Privacy Policy describes other disclosures of personal information.
Your choices
Consent to receive texts is optional and is not required to purchase our services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of further program messages, or HELP for assistance. You can also call (914) 428-7185. We retain your opt-out request as needed to honor it. We may still contact you through other appropriate channels about your vehicle or an outstanding service matter.
Security, retention, and contact
We take reasonable steps to protect messaging information and retain it as long as reasonably needed for customer service, business records, compliance, and disputes. Text messaging is not guaranteed to be secure or delivered without interruption; please do not send payment card numbers or other highly sensitive information by text.
